In the Beginning The Huddersfield Youth Brass Ensemble Association (HYBEA) was formed as an independent charity in 1990. The Huddersfield Youth Brass Ensemble however, has been in existence since 1962 representing the Youth Brass players of Huddersfield all over Europe, Scandinavia and North America on its regular educational tours.

The Organisation Today Huddersfield Brass is run almost entirely by volunteers and a committee of parents and musicians. We provide instruments on loan where required and have provided subsidised lessons since 1997. The Association has evolved over the years to the point where it now provides a complete and continuous educational service for all ages through its three bands.

Sponsorship The bands are self funding and currently carry no sponsorship. Fund raising and grant applications are underway in a bid to replace the ageing instruments and uniforms of all three bands. We are looking for sponsorship to provide help in the purchase and maintenance of instruments & uniforms... ...Are you able to help ?
